There is a member inn for your Katy Trail MO lodging that is located along the route.
Missouri’s Katy Trail State Park (formerly the MKT rail line) is the nation’s longest Rails to Trails conversion, reaching from St. Charles to Clinton. Much of the route runs beside the Missouri River. B&Bs offer a great place to stop when biking, hiking, or running on the trail. Horseback riding is also allowed on a 25 mile section. Many inns will pick up and deliver trekkers to a nearby trailhead. BBIM member inns at Sedalia, Boonville-New Franklin and Rocheport are close to the route. A side trail leads into Columbia, and trailheads are located just across the Missouri River from Jefferson City, Hermann & Washington. In the eastern section, inns are located near the trail in Marthasville, Dutzow, Augusta & Defiance, as well as the eastern terminus, St. Charles.
