Two Amtrak routes serve Missouri. 4 trains daily run between Kansas City and St. Louis, and BBIM member inns are near each of the stops – many offer free pick-up from the station. Cities served include Kansas City, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Warrensburg, Sedalia, Jefferson City, Hermann, Washington, Kirkwood & St. Louis. From Jefferson City to Washington, the route runs next to the Missouri River. Amtrak’s Southwest Chief stops halfway between Macon & Kirksville and in Kansas City, each with member inns.
